After originally being denied by the Arizona Interscholastic Association to move its football game against Mesa to week ‘O’ to accommodate its second Hall of Fame class, Mountain Pointe just might get it moved after all.
It is contingent on a couple of other schools agreeing to changes as well, but the first step in the process has been approved.
If it happens, the Pride would host Mesa around Aug. 17 instead of the first weekend in September.
