Adventure-seekers ages 8 through 88 are invited to raft the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon and experience the Grand Canyon Skywalk with Desert Wildlife Presentations.

Led by wildlife educator/comedian Phil Rakoci of Casa Grande, aka Wildman Phil, the trip is from Sept. 28 through 30.

The cost is $800 per person, which includes round trip transportation to Peach Springs, two nights accomodations (double occupancy) at Hualapai Lodge, bus ride into the Grand Canyon, 40 miles of rafting on the Colorado River and helicopter ride out. It also includes entry onto the Grand Canyon Skywalk, where visitors view the Grand Canyon as they walk

The Daily News-Sun featured a story written by Barb Meier of Sun City West, who went on the same trip this past spring to celebrate her 88th birthday. To read her first-hand account, visit: http://www.yourwestvalley.com/travel/article_2920bfc8-8976-11e1-a935-001a4bcf887a.html.
