A man was struck and killed by a vehicle this morning in the parking lot of a Sun City shopping center, a Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office deputy said.
Brandon Jones, an MCSO spokesman, said at approximately 8:30 a.m. a man, who hasn’t been identified, walked out of the CVS Pharmacy at 10720 W. Bell Road.
He was heading southbound into the parking lot of the Bell Camino Shopping Center when a silver vehicle hit the man and also collided with a red automobile, Jones said.
Fire officials responded within five minutes, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
MCSO officials continued their investigation.
