Sun Health seminar explores lung cancer

Sun Health will sponsor a seminar on lung cancer prevention from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Nov. 14 in the Juniper Room in the Support Services Building at Banner Boswell Medical Center, 13180 N. 103rd Drive, Sun City.

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in both men and women in the United States.

Dr. Christopher Biggs of the Arizona Center for Cancer Care will discuss ways to prevent lung cancer, the benefits and risks of screening for lung cancer, and treatment options.

The Sun Health Community Education Series presents free ongoing health and wellness programs on a variety of health care, healthy living and personal and financial safety topics focused on seniors.
