The big annual rummage sale returns to Willowbrook United Methodist Church, 19390 N. 99th Ave., Sun City, next weekend.

Dates and hours for the event are 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 29 and 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Jan. 30.

The annual sale offers thousands of new and gently used furniture and home accessory items, clothing and jewelry, electronics, sporting goods, housewares, tools, gifts, linens, books, movies, music and more, filling just about all of the Willowbrook campus, inside and out. Parking is free.

Willowbrook members and friends work year-round, especially the week leading up to the sale, picking up donated items, sorting, evaluating, pricing and handling sales, deliveries and round-the-clock security.

Proceeds benefit a variety of church projects, as well as local outreach and mission programs. Sale "leftovers" are picked up by local organizations and given to those in need.

Donations of usable goods are welcome, and free pick-up service and tax forms are available.

For information, call Willowbrook UMC at 623-974-5637 during office hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays.
