PHOENIX (AP) — A Sun City woman arrested after authorities found two suspected methamphetamine labs in her house has pleaded guilty to child abuse.
Maricopa County prosecutors say 36-year-old Brenda Lipe is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 7.
She was booked into jail in April on suspicion of child abuse and drug possession charges.
A backyard fire on April 30 led authorities to Lipe's house, where two suspected meth labs were discovered.
Sun City police searched her vehicle and say they found a handgun, methamphetamine and a pipe.
Authorities say Lipe has three children.
