Desert Golf Cars cruises into 2-game lead
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Desert Golf Cars extended its lead to two games in the Sun Cities American League on Tuesday with a 15-6 rout of Gonstead Chiropractic at Liberty Field in Sun City West.
Dan McKenzie had four hits with a double while John Kaus and Dave Toepel each had three hits with a double in the win. Bob Harvey had three hits for Desert Golf Cars.
Gordon Kinkead went 3-for-3 with a double for Gonstead Chiropractic, which fell into fourth place.

Pitcher Loren Swanson twirled a four-hitter for Cranstoun Court Jewellers, which moved into a second-place tie with Canyon State Air.
Wendell Osborne had three hits with a triple and Mike Burie had three hits with a double for Cranstoun Court Jewellers. Ronnie Guest doubled twice while Tim Harmon and Bob Leisten each had three hits in the win.

Cal Goings went 4-for-4 as Mary Inman Realtor overcame a 7-6 deficit with a three-run seventh inning and then held on for the win.
Larry Adams, Art Nelson and John Doherty each had three hits in the win.
