The Sun City Starrs masters swim team spread the wealth on Nov. 22 during the third annual Arizona Senior Olympics Relay swim competition at Bell Recreation Center.

Each of the 19 team members won at least one medal at the event. Some of the Sun City Starrs won five medals apiece.

Head coach Lisa Bogato and coach Tom Taylor coordinated the team's efforts.

Team members were John Jorgensen, Kathleen Lawrence, Ann Cast, Lu Middel, Elaine Guest, Bob Bracken, Mindi Case, Carol Vangel, Dolores Balding, John Dahlgren, Rod Newport, Dave Schwartz, Alex Lawrence, Tom Wrigley, Joanie Skewes, Linda Bamford, Bobbi Malone and Marge Siegmund.

The Sun City West Masters swim team also had a strong showing, winning two events and placing in the top-three in three others.

Lois McDonald coaches the Sun City West team.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona sponsored the event, which featured an awards ceremony and light lunch following the meet.
