Suns schedule open practice on Sunday

Fans will have the opportunity to catch a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the Phoenix Suns when the team plays host to its annual free open practice on Sunday in US Airways Center, 201 E. Jefferson, Phoenix.

Doors open at 6 p.m. The event begins at 7 p.m.

The open practice will feature entertainment by The Gorilla, Suns Dancers and Verve Sol Patrol, and will be highlighted by a team scrimmage. Fans attending the event are encouraged to donate a minimum of $5 at the doors to benefit the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. Those who donate will be entered into a raffle to win Suns merchandise.

In addition, the Suns have released a limited number of seat locations that are available in full and partial ticket plans, as well as a limited number of group ticket locations. Fans will be able to view or secure plans or group seats beginning at 5 p.m. Sunday. Those interested in viewing available locations should enter US Airways Center through the north side (Jefferson Street), located next to The Team Shop.

The Verizon Wireless Jungle also will be open for free play through the duration of the open practice.
