The Peoria Police Department and FBI are looking for a suspect in a robbery that occurred early Wednesday morning at a Chase bank branch near 99th and Peoria avenues.
Police spokesman Jay Davies said the bank manager and one other employee were opening the bank at about 7:15 a.m. while the suspect was at the ATM. When the employees opened the doors, Davies said, the suspect rushed in with them, brandished a gun and demanded money.
No one was injured during the incident, Davies said. Police did not disclose whether the suspect fled with any money.
Police describe the suspect as a white male, more than 6 feet tall, in his mid- to late 20s, wearing a black hoodie shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
