Three Vents on Aug. 9 regarding Chick-fil-A’s CEO’s statement that marriage is between a man and a woman resulted in thousands and thousands of people lining up at their restaurant on Aug. 2, eating and supporting it. These Americans were supporting freedom, liberty and the century-old meaning of marriage. What is in play here is another step in the breakdown of traditional American values, the revision and the meaning of terms. For example, the term homosexual is not used, it is gay and now the term gay marriage is not used, it is marriage equality.
