Hone tennis skills at winter clinics

The Surprise Tennis and Racquet Complexis offering a series of holiday programs for juniors and adults during the month of December. 

Adult Holiday Specialty Clinics are designed for low-intermediate to advanced level players. Three one-hour clinics will be each evening including themes such as doubles strategy, cardio tennis and offensive and defensive strategies. Players who register for all three clinics in one night receive a discounted registration rates. Adult Holiday Specialty Clinics will be Dec. 21-23 and Dec. 28-30.

For adult players who have recently participated in a starter program, STRC is offering a series of Winter Game Improvement Clinics. The clinics are designed for advanced beginner – low-intermediate players. Clinics will focus on strategy and movement with some technique work. Game Improvement Clinics will be Dec. 21-23 and Dec. 28-30 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. A discount is available for players who register for three or more Game Improvement Clinics.

STRC is also running a Junior Winter Tennis Camp for players ages 7-12. The camp will be 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 21-23 and Dec. 28-30. Cost of the camp is $75 per week for Surprise residents and $95 per week for non-Surprise residents. Camp is designed for beginners through low-intermediate players and will include technique, games, fun, and prizes.
