Join cardiovascular surgeon Dr. Rajeev Kathuria for “Healing Your Heart: Advances in Cardiac Surgery,” a free presentation at 9 a.m. Nov. 18.

The event will be conducted in Memorial Hall of Banner Boswell’s Support Services Building, 13180 N. 103rd Drive, in Sun City. Call 602-230-CARE (2273) to register.

Free cholesterol screenings and blood pressure checks also will be provided, along with a variety of heart health information. In addition, light refreshments will be served.

The event is a time to ask questions and learn directly from a cardiac expert about options to heal the heart. The community talk program is part of Banner Health’s “Put Your Heart in the Right Place” cardiac awareness campaign to help fight the nation’s one killer – heart disease.
