Karen's Korner: Free admission to premier movie showing

Adultcare Assistance Homecare and Banner Sun Health Research Institute are partnering to present the film “You Are Here” from 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 8 at the Rio Vista Rec Center in Peoria at 8866 W. Thunderbird Road.   

Special guests will be Tim Jeffrey, the writer, director, producer and actor in the film, along with Dr. Marwan Sabbaugh, chief medical officer at Banner Sun Health Research Institute and author of the book “The Alzheimer’s Answer.” Sabbaugh will be signing copies of his book following a public forum Q&A panel discussion with a group of experts on the subject of Alzheimer’s. 

This event is free and open to the public, but seating is limited and reservations are required. There will be door prizes. Refreshments will be provided by Brookdale Senior Living. To RSVP, call 623-875-6565.
