Recreation expo seeks pet-friendly vendors

The Luke West Valley Recreation will have its annual Recreation Family Fun Expo April 24, showcasing a variety of information, products and services related to the health and well-being of animals, rescue groups and adoptions.

The Luke West Valley Recreation is looking for vendors and rescue groups to take part in the Pet Expo. If you would like to attend and bring out adoptable pets (rescue groups), pet products, pet information or anything pet related, contact Ruth Espinoza at the City of Avondale Recreation Department to obtain a vendor application.

Anyone interested in becoming a sponsor or registering should contact Espinoza or visit www.westvalleyrecreation.com for an application or Espinoza at respinoza@avondale.org.

Deadline to submit vendor applications are April 8.

When: Saturday, April 24, 2010
Where: Gateway Park, 10100 N. El Mirage Park
Time: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Cost: Free admission, with minimal cost for food, drinks and activities.
