Daily News-Sun

An experimental plane made a rough landing near the Glendale Airport Friday morning.

The aircraft is co-owned and registered to a Sun City West resident.

Another pilot was flying the plane, which reportedly had engine problems about 300 feet off the ground, according to Luis Samudio of the Phoenix police department.

The pilot, a 35 year old man, landed the plane in a wash, and sustained cuts to his eye and hand. He refused treatment and was transported to the hospital by a friend.
