Program offers child-free evening for parents
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Parents can enjoy an evening out during the Valentine’s weekend through the Glendale Parks & Recreation Department’s Parent’s Night Out from 5-9 p.m. Feb. 13.
During Parent’s Night Out, children are dropped off by their parents to the Glendale Adult Center, 5970 W. Brown St., where arts and crafts, games, ping pong, pizza and drinks and more await them. Parents should also bring their children’s pajamas and a pillow for the evening movie.
Parents can know that the children are safe and having fun with the department Youth and Teen Division’s child-care staff while they enjoy a romantic evening together, a night out with friends or just an evening for themselves.
The cost per child is $10 for Glendale residents and $12 for non-residents. Registration is required; call 623-930-2820 to register or for information.
