Glendale shop assists youths with holiday event
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Ten Thousand Villages, in The Village at Arrowhead at 67th Avenue and 101 Loop, will offer a children’s shopping day from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Children who shop this day will discover gifts for everyone on their shopping list and enjoy the assistance of extra staff on hand to help them. Parents can relax with a cup of coffee while younger siblings enjoy coloring pages.
Store Manager Melissa Yoder said, “We often see children shopping with their parents and we thought a special Children’s Shopping Day could help children to learn more about the world and fair trade as they find unique, affordable holiday gifts for their family and friends.”
Ten Thousand Villages offers home decor, personal accessories and gift items fashioned from recycled and sustainable materials.
