Surprise Senior Center plans events
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Surprise Senior Center offers activities and programs for seniors age 60 and older from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at 15832 N. Hollyhock St.
Lunch is served at noon. A contribution of $3 is suggested and reservations are required 24 hours in advance by calling 623-222-1500.
The following events are scheduled for the week:
Monday
10 a.m. — Craft: dipped apples. Cost is $3.
10 a.m. — Rummy Q.
10 a.m. — Music Appreciation.
11:15 a.m. — Feel Great Exercise.
1 p.m. — Bingo for Thrift Dollars.
Lunch: Sweet and sour chicken.
Tuesday
9:30 a.m. — Line dancing. Cost is $5.
10 a.m. — Guitar.
10 a.m. — Pokeno.
11 a.m. — Ukulele.
11 a.m. — Kitsch 'N Sync.
1 p.m. — Mah-Jongg.
1 p.m. — Digital photos.
Lunch: Beef and peppers.
Wednesday
9 a.m. — Spanish classes.
9 a.m. — So n’ Sew.
10 a.m. — Dominoes.
11:15 a.m. — Feel Great Exercise.
12:15 p.m. — Turkey races; November birthday party.
1 p.m. — Pinochle.
1:15 p.m. — Tiempo de Oro.
1:15 p.m. — Needlecraft social.
Lunch: Hawaiian ham steak.
Thursday
Closed for Thanksgiving.
Friday
Closed for Thanksgiving.
