Unwelcome house guests
Comments 0 | Recommend 0John Elliott of Sun City West took these photos Sunday after a friend discovered a pack rats' nest in her clothes dryer.
The Sun City West resident had been out of town for six weeks and arrived home to discover her dryer would not work.
When Elliott checked the dryer, he found the rats had filled it, except the inside of the drum, with Kleenex, nuts, oranges, leaves, grass and droppings.
The rats entered the laundry room by chewing a hole in the flap that leads to the outside, as well as the aluminum vent.
