Hospice of Arizona trains volunteers in Peoria

Hospice of Arizona is looking for volunteers to share their time and hearts with terminally ill patients and their families. Volunteers can spend time with patients in their homes, group homes or inpatient units or can provide administrative, bereavement or spiritual support. Bilingual speaking volunteers are also needed.
This month, hospice volunteer certification training will be hosted at the Christ Church of the Valley, 7007 W. Happy Valley Road in Peoria.
The three-session training will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 22, 23 and 24.
