A police officer removes crime scene tape around the U.S. 60 bridge Friday.

Wednesday morning, the body of Sabrina Alcantar was found lying in the street in Youngtown. Friday morning, Maricopa County Sheriff's Officers found the body of her husband, Manuel Julio Alcantar, the man they believe killed her.

Doug Matteson, MCSO spokesman, said it appeared Alcantar committed suicide.

Matteson said Alcantar's body was found hanging from a rope around 8:30 a.m. this morning by a commuter as the driver passed under the roadway at Grand Avenue and Thunderbird Road. Sheriff's deputies located the body beneath the Grand Avenue bridge west of 111th Avenue.

The hunt for Alcantar began after Youngtown police responded to a reported domestic dispute Wednesday morning near 112th and Montana avenues. They discovered Sabrina Alcantar lying in the street, bleeding profusely. She died at the scene.
