Drivers in the West Valley may want to take alternate routes to avoid any delays this weekend due to continuing construction of the Loop 303/Interstate 10 interchange project.
The Arizona Department of Transportation recommends drivers allow extra time and consider alternate routes while the following restrictions are in place:
• Interstate 10 will be narrowed to one lane in both directions between Cotton Lane and Estrella Parkway from 11:30 tonight to 7:30 a.m. Saturday for lane striping. The I-10 on- and off-ramps at Estrella Parkway also will be closed. ADOT officials said drivers should consider using the on- and off-ramps at Bullard Avenue.
• Eastbound Interstate 10 will be narrowed to one lane overnight between Cotton Lane and Estrella Parkway from 10 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday for lane striping. The eastbound I-10 off-ramp at Estrella Parkway will be closed. ADOT advises the eastbound off-ramp at Bullard Avenue be used as an alternate.
