GCC prepares diverse night of percussion Dec. 7

Glendale Community College will host a percussion concert from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Dec. 7 at 6000 W. Olive Ave.

The faculty marimba concert will feature Dr. Sonja Branch, Dr. Jeremy Muller, Dr. Douglas Nottingham and Dr. Brett Reed with special guests The Glendale Community College Percussion Ensemble.

This concert will present solo, chamber and ensemble works showcasing a diversity of compositions for marimba, vibraphone and xylophone.

The event is free and open to the public. There will also be free refreshments. Call 623-845-3915.
