Officer's missing truck discovered in desert
Comments 0 | Recommend 0A personal truck of an off-duty El Mirage Police officer that contained several weapons, police uniforms and a ballistic vest was recovered south of Casa Grande last week.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety found Lt. Randy Weems' 2003 Ford F-350 using a helicopter in desert area. The truck had been stolen in March.
El Mirage Police officer Michael Frazier said the vehicle had been stripped of all of its items.
The truck was allegedly stolen from the parking lot of McDuffy's in Peoria near the Peoria Sports Complex.
