Learn signs of normal aging vs. early Alzheimer's

Comments 0 | Recommend 0

What are the signs of normal aging versus early Alzheimer's? Learn to distinguish the difference by attending a seminar with Dr. Donald Connor, neuropsychologist at the Sun Health Research Institute, who will speak at The Heritage Tradition at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Heritage Hall.

Connor conducts annual cognitive evaluations on all registered brain bank donors and assessments on participants in clinical trials at the Cleo Roberts Center for Clinical Research, a division of SHRI.

He also trains and oversees staff who administer neuropsychological tests, consults on research design and implementation, analysis of data, submission of manuscripts in scientific journals and collaborates with other Sun Health scientists. During his career, Connor has earned several awards, including the Summer Research Institute in Geriatric Psychiatry Award in 1997.

The seminar on Normal Aging versus Early Alzheimer's is free and open to the public. Reservations are required. Call The Heritage Tradition marketing department at 623-742-1000 to reserve a place. The Heritage Tradition is at 19303 New Tradition Road, Sun City West.
