Bank robbery suspect arrested quickly
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Mesa police arrested a 43-year-old suspect less than 10 minutes after a bank robbery Thursday.
According to detective Mike Melendez, Mesa police spokesman, a man walked into the Compass Bank, 515 N. Stapley Drive, about 4:51 p.m. and gave the teller a note demanding money.
Police found Blake Gosney in an alley a few blocks away at 4:57 p.m.
Melendez said Gosney, who had been released from prison Nov. 5 after serving time for robbery, had the money from Thursday’s robbery.
