Gilbert woman busted at border with pot
Comments 0 | Recommend 0DOUGLAS, Ariz. (AP) — Authorities say a 45-year-old Gilbert woman has been arrested after trying to enter the U.S. from Mexico with 112 pounds of marijuana concealed in her car.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents stopped the woman at the port of entry in Douglas late last week. They say a drug-sniffing dog alerted to her car and they found the pot concealed under the back seat.
The woman's name wasn't released. She was a U.S. citizen and was handed over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.
