Associated Press

PHOENIX (AP) — The FBI is seeking the public's help in identifying two people who have robbed six banks and credit unions across northern Arizona since early September.

Authorities have dubbed them the "High Country Bandits" and say they have held up banks and credit unions in Flagstaff, Heber, Prescott Valley, Payson, Gold Canyon and Pinetop.

The FBI says the most recent heists were Dec. 3 in Gold Canyon and Dec. 4 in Pinetop.

Authorities have released several bank surveillance pictures of one man, who appears to be holding a handgun and wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses and mask that covers the lower half of his face.
