PUSD leads tour of 2 schools

Peoria Unified School District residents, business leaders and parents are invited on a patron tour of two district schools beginning at 8 a.m. Oct. 2. The tour is at Peoria High School, 11200 N. 83rd Ave. and Peoria Elementary School, 11501 N. 79th Ave. The tour will begin at Peoria High School in the new administration building. A continental breakfast will be served and a district overview will be presented by PUSD Superintendent Dr. Denton Santarelli. Governing board members will be on hand to greet the guests. Principal Dr. Kayla Carter will share an overview and tour of the Peoria High School campus. After the tour of Peoria High, the patrons will board a yellow school bus for a short trip to Peoria Elementary for a tour of the elementary campus. Principal Phil Stanfield will share information about the school, and students will accompany the guests on campus. Patrons will board the bus to return to Peoria High around 11:15 a.m., and will have the opportunity to ask questions as part of the conclusion of the tour.
