Freedom Inn lends a paw
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Residents and staff at Freedom Inn at Sun City West joined forces for a two-day indoor rummage sale to help the growing number of homeless animals in the Valley.
Residents, family members and staff donated items for the rummage sale, which raised $610.
The funds will be divided equally between Sun Cities 4 Paws and Friends 4 Life Shelter. The unsold items will be donated to the Sun Valley Animal Shelter Thrift Store.
Ruth Frazier, life enrichment director at Freedom Inn, coordinated the event.
"Our residents have been hearing about the growing number of abandoned animals in the area and wanted to help provide shelter and care to these animals," Frazier said.
Freedom Inn is at 13810 W. Sandridge Drive, Sun City West.
