RCSCW changes swim hours
Comments 0 | Recommend 0The Recreation Centers of Sun City West will revise its children's swim hours on July 24.
The new daily hours will be 10 a.m. to noon at R.H. Johnson, and 4-6 p.m. at Palm Ridge and Beardsley recreation centers.
The change eliminates the 1-4 p.m. period previously offered because this is the peak usage time for residents. In addition, children's hours have been reduced from three-hour blocs to two-hour blocs, again to accommodate residents.
The association's recreation division staff did an informal study of children's swim hours at other age-restricted communities, and the new hours bring Sun City West more in line with what other communities offer.
As always, residents are responsible for the behavior of their young guests. Lifeguards are not provided and supervision by a responsible adult is required at all times.
