West Valley police departments will have a DUI Task Force Friday through Sunday.

The task force involves officers from Glendale, Peoria, Arizona Department of Public Safety, El Mirage, Tolleson and Goodyear.

The West Valley DUI Task Force will set up command at the Glendale police Gateway substation at 6200 N. 83rd Ave.

The West Valley DUI Task Force is committed to the enforcement of laws regarding driving while impaired by alcohol and/or drugs. Intensive patrolling has proven to be an effective method for the prevention of impaired driving as well as the detection and apprehension of impaired drivers.
