Parents in the Deer Valley Unified School District can register children at the district office July 6-30. The district office located at 20402 N. 15th Ave., Phoenix.

Registrations will be taken at the following times:

• July 6-23 — 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday

• July 27-30, 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

To find out which school your child will attend, refer to the boundary map section on the district Web site, www.dvusd.org. DVUSD is accepting open enrollment applications for 2009-10. Applications may be obtained from the district office or at the district’s Web site.

New academic opportunities include Mandarin Chinese Programs, Renaissance Gifted Academy & Music Academy, and the International Baccalaureate Program. Open enrollment applications will be accepted based on space availability beginning Aug. 3.
