The site plan for Westfield Commons, a commercial development on the southeast corner of Bell Road and Sarival, was approved. Among the proposed businesses and uses include a Discount Tire, medical office building, Culver's Restaurant and Circle K.
Also approved was the site plan for Sycamore Farms Towne Center, a 65-acre retail/restaurant development on the southeast corner of the Loop 303 and Cactus Road. Among the proposed uses: a 114,700 square foot home improvement center and various other retail and shop buildings.
The site plan for Comerica Bank at Towne Square, at the southwest corner of 142nd Avenue and Bell Road, was also approved.
A small section of the southwest corner of 115th Avenue and Bell was rezoned from C-2 (community
commercial) to C-3 (general commercial). The property west of this plot is C-3 and contains an RV sales and rental business, and the developer plans to open an auto sales lot or leasing facility.
