4 hurt when school bus hits pickup in Coolidge
Comments 0 | Recommend 0COOLIDGE, Ariz. (AP) — A father and his two children were seriously injured on Thursday morning when a school bus rear-ended their pickup truck in Coolidge.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety says there were no children on the bus but the bus driver was also taken to a hospital.
DPS spokesman Officer Robert Bailey says it appears the school bus was headed north on Attaway Road approaching State Route 287 when its driver failed to slow enough to avoid slowing traffic.
The father and his children were flown to area hospitals; the bus driver was taken by ambulance.
