Artwalk meanders into SCG

The Colonnade, a life care retirement community located in Sun City Grand, will host an Art Walk 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 11.

The event will be held throughout the Colonnade Community and will feature local artists displaying their talents in several models of the casitas that make up the new senior living community. The Colonnade is at the corner of West Mountain View Drive and Goldwater Ridge Road in Sun City Grande.

"We are very excited about The Colonnade Art Walk. We wanted to give West Valley residents an opportunity to experience the talent of local artists, many of whom live right here in one of the Sun City communities," said Kathleen Weber of Roskamp Arizona. "We are going to have more than forty artists displaying sculpture, painting, floral arrangements, jewelry and a variety of other mediums as well as three local authors doing book signings. In addition to the art, participants will have a chance to see our innovative new community, talk with community representatives, and enjoy refreshments."

The Colonnade is the newest lifecare retirement community in the Roskamp/Sun Health family of communities. Roskamp/Sun Health is a partnership of Roskamp Management Company, LLC and Sun Health Corporation. In addition to The Colonnade, Roskamp/Sun Health also operates La Loma Village in Litchfield Park and Grandview Terrace in Sun City West.
