The following local residents graduated from college this spring:

• Nicole Sornsin of Glendale earned a doctorate degree from the College of William and mary in Williamsburg, Va.

• Ernest Rhodes of Glendale was awarded an honorary bachelor of technology degree along with the entire class of 1959 of Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston.

The following local residents were named to college dean’s lists for the spring semester:

• Ashley Elzabeth Comeria of Glendale at Colby-Sawyer College in new London, N.H.

• Stephanie M. Hicks and Emily J. Wong of Glendale at Northwestern College in St. Paul, Minn.

• Cherie Michelle Bates of Peoria at Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
