Michigan Club gets ready for winter

The Sun City West Michigan Club invites guests to join its members as they celebrate the upcoming 2008-09 winter season with two events.

The club will have a "Welcome Back" breakfast and social hour Nov. 3 at the Royale Cafe, 10793 N.W. Grand Ave., Sun City. Breakfast will be served at 9 a.m. The menu includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, toast, fruit cup, coffee cake and coffee. Cost is $8.25 (includes tax and gratuity) per person. Coupons are available in the members' fall "Michigan Matters" newsletter.

Make reservations by mailing checks, made out to Sun City West Michigan Club, to the club at 14109 W. Via Manana, Sun City West, AZ 85375. Checks should be received by Oct. 24. For information, call 623-544-4488.

The club also scheduled its Dolly Steamboat and Organ Stop Pizza Excursion for Nov. 17. Cost is $65 per person for club members and $75 per person for guests and nonmembers.

Price includes the bus ride and Dolly Steamboat ticket. Guests and nonmembers need to call 623-584-3521 for instructions on mailing their checks.

Bus pick-up time is tentatively set for 10:15 a.m., and return is about 8 p.m. Payment deadline for the trip is Oct. 5. For information, call 623-581-3521.
