Sheriff speaks at AARP meeting

The next AARP Chapter 1 meeting will be Sept. 12, in the Youngtown Council Chambers, on Alabama Avenue west of 111th Avenue. A potluck dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by guest speaker Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
All national AARP members are welcome to attend, and chapter dues are $5 annually. To RSVP or for information, call Arky Muscato, Chapter 1 president, at 623-362-0605.
