Body recovered from Grand Canyon is identified
Comments 0 | Recommend 0GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK, Ariz. (AP) — A body recovered from below the South Rim of the Grand Canyon has been identified as that of a Colorado man.
Authorities say 62-year-old B. Holt Vaughn, of Broomfield, Colo., had been visiting Grand Canyon National Park with his son, daughter-in-law and other family members when he fell over the edge of the South Rim for an unknown reason.
His body was located Saturday about 400 feet below the rim between Mather Point and Pipe Creek Vista.
The death is being investigated by the National Park Service.
