Higher buildings coming to Bullhead City
Comments 0 | Recommend 0BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. (AP) — The Bullhead City Council voted Tuesday to raise the roof.
The city will allow building heights to increase from three to five stories in parts of downtown.
The vote was 5-2 in favor with council members Sheila Shutts and Mickey McClure voting against the measure.
Shutts said many residents are overwhelmingly opposed to raising building heights.
McClure argued that three stories was an adequate building height.
Bullhead City Mayor Jack Hakim defined the code change as a policy decision aimed at city growth.
