Two Surprise juveniles were arrested Thursday on multiple felony counts of criminal damage involving graffiti, police said.
The arrests followed a joint investigation conducted by the Surprise and El Mirage police departments.
During the investigation the Surprise Police Department was able to establish an investigative lead related to the crimes. The investigation revealed that both cities had been targeted with similar types of graffiti. Both agencies worked together and subsequently were able to link approximately 10 graffiti cases that caused thousands of dollars in damage, police said.
