One-car accident results in fatality
Comments 0 | Recommend 0A single-vehicle accident in north Peoria early this morning left one person dead and three injured, said Arizona Department of Public Safety officials.
Bart Graves, a DPS spokesman, said the accident happened at 3:28 this morning near the intersection of State Route 74 and Castle Hot Springs Road. Graves said the vehicle was traveling westbound on SR-74 when it left the roadway. One person was killed and three others were injured, though the details of the accident are not yet available.
As of 9 a.m. this morning, the roadway remained closed while DPS officers continued their investigation.
The names of the parties involved have not yet been released.
